Spence Counseling Center offers SMS (text message) communication as a way to improve communication with clients regarding appointment reminders, scheduling, billing inquiries, and other general wellness matters. By opting in to our SMS service, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
- Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS messages from Spence Counseling Center. These messages may include:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Scheduling changes or updates
- Billing inquiries
- General wellness check-ins (non-clinical)
- Practice updates, closures, or emergency information
- Frequency of Messages
Message frequency will vary depending on your level of interaction with our services but will typically not exceed 3 messages per week. You will only receive messages that are relevant to your care or relationship with the counseling center. - Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Spence Counseling Center is not responsible for any charges incurred from SMS messaging. - Opt-Out & Help

- Privacy & Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your privacy. SMS messages are not a secure form of communication and may not be encrypted. We will not share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes.
